Welcome to Stand-Up Writer. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stand-Up Writer application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Kalrom Systems Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

Stand-Up Writer is a digital tool designed for stand-up comedians to:

  • Write, organize, and manage jokes and comedy material
  • Build and organize comedy sets and shows
  • Track performance ratings and analytics
  • Access AI-powered writing assistance and joke suggestions
  • Sync content across multiple devices

The Service is available through web browsers, iOS, and Android applications.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

  • Free: Basic features with limited functionality
  • Open Mic-er: Enhanced features with monthly AI credits
  • Club Regular: Full access with unlimited AI credits and premium features

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service. All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise specified.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance.

5. Refund Policy

6. User Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the jokes, sets, and other content you create using Stand-Up Writer ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your creative material.

6.2 License Grant

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6.3 Content Responsibility

  • You own or have the necessary rights to your content
  • Your content does not infringe upon any third party's rights
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality, is owned by Kalrom Systems Ltd and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Prohibited Uses

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission
  • Use AI-generated content to misrepresent authorship

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings feature.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KALROM SYSTEMS LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
